Ok, I guess it is about time to start my blog back up again, since I have had another child since the last time and my first born is a couple years older! As you all know, we have a lot going on in our lives right now. Callie is on bedrest and we have Alyssa a few days out of the week. Avery is now one and talking like crazy. Addison is four and has learned all her letters, most of the letter sounds and how to write her name. She is getting so big! Here are some of the latest pics of them! I'll try to do better about keeping my blog going again!

I'm Back!

I know, I know, I haven't blogged in quite awhile. I have been so bad. Anyways, there has been a lot going on. Brenn and I are training for a 1/2 marathon, so we have been running, running, running. We even ran on vacation, yuck! I completed my first 5K in June. My time was 30 minutes 35 seconds. I thought this was good for my first one. I hope to run another one before the 1/2 marathon.

We also just came back from the beach. We had a great time. The weather was perfect and Addison had a blast. She loved everything, the ocean, the sand, the seashells, the pool and riding the golf cart around. She also loved having both grandmas and her paw there with us. Here are a few pictures. I hope to get more from my mother-in-law soon.

Catch Up!

Ok, so I have a lot of catching up to do! We have been very busy since the last time I blogged. We had Alyssa's 1st Birthday, Brenn's Triathlon, Addison's dance recital and going to the Strawberry patch.

Alyssa's 1st Birthday party was great! She enjoyed playing and sitting in her cake, but didn't really want to eat it. She got a ton of gifts and was cute as a button! I can't believe she is already 1!

Next was Brenn's second triathlon. I wasn't able to go the the first one and Brenn forgot to take his camera to take pictures. He did great and once again I am so proud of him. He improved his time by about 5 minutes. He is doing another one at the end of this month.

After that, we had Addison's dance recital. I was so excited and anxious about the recital. One reason is because I couldn't wait to see how Addison did and the other reason, was I had to be on stage with her. It was a "Mommy and Me" class, so we had to be up on the stage, but thankfully didn't have to dance. They all did so good and were adorable. It took Addison a little while before she finally started to dance, but when she finally started, it was really cute. I am trying to post her video, but I haven't had any success. I think it is too long.

Then Sunday, Addison, my mom and I went to pick strawberries. The first strawberry Addison picked was a little mushy, so when she went to pick it she didn't like the feeling. She said, "I mushed it Mommy." After that she wouldn't pick anymore, but wanted to put them in the basket when we picked them.

We took Addison's crib down a couple of weekends ago and put up her big girl bed. She loves it and is doing great. If we are upstairs, she is sitting on it playing. Her crib actually converts into a full-size bed, but we decided just to get her a little twin bed and use the crib for the next child. No, I am not pregnant, but we will probably start trying within the next year. Here are some pictures of her last night in her crib!

Alyssa

Alyssa's surgery went great. She has a small cut on her right eye. They made the cut in her eyelid so she wouldn't have a visible scar. Her tubes took a matter of minutes. The doctor said everything she has been hearing for the past couple of months has been mumbled, so this should help her hear better and feel better. Thanks for all your prayers!

Please pray for Alyssa. She is having surgery tomorrow. She has a growth on her eyebrow and while she is under, they are going to put tubes in her ears. She has had earaches for a couple of months now and nothing is helping. We are all very nervous, but know that she is in God's hands. I will let everyone know how she is doing after the surgery. Thanks for your prayers.

For my Grandma's birthday, we had Addison and Alyssa finger paint her a picture. We framed it and put some of the pictures we took of them painting around it. She really loved it and they had a blast!

Addison has started dance! I have been so excited at the thought of her being able to start when she turned 2! She is still adjusting and it takes her about half of the class to warm up. She eventually starts to participate and it is so cute. It is a mommy and me class, so I am able to stay in there with her. She walks around the rest of the week saying "Heel, toe, heel toe" and doing her curtsy. It is adorable! She will have a recital in April and her costume comes with a matching baby doll. How cute is that?

Circus Fun

We took Addison to the Circus this year. She had bronchitius, but she still had a blast! We let her choose a snow cone and of course she choose the $12 horse cup, but we all enjoyed it. The circus was so much fun. She loved the tigers, zebras and elephants!

Ok, so I know I haven't updated my blog in a very long time. Sorry, but I have been super busy lately, with my birthday, Addison's birthday, Autumn's baby shower and so much more! My birthday was January 6 and Addison's was January 8th! They were great! We had Addison's birthday party at Jump Zone and she had a blast. We had is on a Friday night which was perfect. We had the rest of the weekend to settle down. Also, Jump Zone doesn't have open play times on Friday nights and there were no other parties scheduled, so we had the whole place to ourselves. It was great! Here are some pics from her party.

We took Addison to Build A Bear on her birthday. She enjoyed it but really wasn't into picking out a bunch of stuff, so she just got a plain bear. He is cute though and she likes him.

Christmas!

Addison is so excited about Christmas this year. She is all into the lights, Santa, and Christmas trees. Every time we go upstairs, she tells our tree "Bye" and "Be right back." Every time we pass by Christmas lights she yells "Tismiss Bights!" When we turn our Santa and Reindeer lights on outside, she gets so excited. This year is completely different from last. It is so exciting! She keeps telling me that "Santa coming." We went to pick out our tree the other day. She loved walking through all the trees and hugging them. When Brenn brought the tree inside, she squealed so loud. She got bored with putting on the decorations and just started sticking them in the middle of the tree. Mom had to go back later and fix them. It was so much fun! I can't wait for Santa. Having a child really puts the excitement back in Christmas!

My dad decided to show us how static works using a balloon and Alyssa's head! She didn't mind thoough! It made for some really cute pics! Alyssa is 8 months old now and crawling everywhere. She is getting into everything imaginable and loves her cousin. Addison still wants to kiss her all the time, but now Alyssa grabs her hair. She is so cute and makes the funniest faces and sounds.

Addison had on a shirt with cupcakes the other day. Brenn saw it and just had to have one, so ofcourse I went to the store and got a few. As you can see, Addison really enjoyed hers. She has always mixed her c's and p's up. Cup is Puc and Cupcake is Pucake. It is really cute.

Halloween

Addison had a wonderful Halloween! She loved going trick-or-treating and her pig costume. She was a skinny little pig though. She actually looked like a bunny without her nose on her head. She wouldn't wear it on her nose, so we settled for her head. We practiced saying "trick-or-treat" for weeks, but when she learned she would get candy for her bucket at every house, she just walked up and said "Mo" (more). We would tell her to say, "please," but all she was concerned about was that candy. My battery died, so I only have a few pics. I only have one of Alyssa. She was a ladybug! So cute!

We finally painted Addison's pumpkin. She enjoyed it. She decided that it was more fun to paint daddy. Then daddy painted her shirt. That is exactly why mommy put an old shirt on Addison.

I recently had my 10 year reunion at the Spartanburg Marriott. It was nice to see and talk to everyone again. I was so excited that Tim and Hillary were able to come in town for it.

I put Addison's hair in pig-tails for the first time the other day. She was sitting on my sink and when I was finished she looked up at herself. She laughed, pointed to her hair and said, "Fifor Hair" (flower hair). It was so funny! I can just eat her up sometimes at the cute things she says. I love how cute everything sounds when she talks right now. It makes me sad that she is growing so fast, but I am excited to see all the new things she learns each day.

Nivens Apple Orchard

Brenn, Addison and I went to Nivens Apple Orchard this morning. It was a great trip. This year was so much different. Addison loved everything. She enjoyed looking at the barnyard animals, riding on the hayride (she said it was her Paw's tractor that pulled us), looking at the pumpkins, drinking the cider and picking apples. After she picked a few apples, she decided to eat one. She carried it around most of the time we were there. You will see it in many of the pictures. We met one of the lawyers that Brenn works with and his family. They have a three year old and a little girl around the same age as Addison. Since Addison is too young to carve her pumpkin, we are going to let her paint it this year. I will post those pictures when we do it!

Here are some pictures of Addison and my dad. He originally wanted to be called Pap, but Addie has changed it to Paw. He is just thrilled she calls for him, so he isn't complaining. They were over our house the other night and Addison wanted to wear her Paw's hat. Can you tell she has him wrapped!

Mud Run

Brenn and some friends of ours decided to try out their endurance and compete in a 4 mile obstacle course called The Mud Run. It was in Columbia on September 20. You could have a four person team or two person team. Brenn and Brett had a two person team. They did great and finished in the top third out of about 1100 teams. There were thousands of people there, most of which were covered in mud. It looked very challenging, but fun! I hope to try it out next year. I am missing a few really good pictures. I will post them when I get them.

Here are some pictures of Addison on the beach. She had a blast playing in the sand and ocean. She was not afraid of the waves at all. She would be out to her waist before she would even look back. We had to stay by her side at all times. She also enjoyed chasing the birds. Every picture of Addison this year is in motion. She did not stop the entire time she was on the beach. We had such a great time this year. I haven't had that much sand in my bathing suit since I was 8 years old, but it was fun. Brenn and I went back to our childhood days this year. I guess it will be that way from now on. I can't believe I was able to get her mid-splash!

Here are some family pictures we took while at the beach of the Edge side. Our camera went dead for the Watson side pictures, so those will come soon when I get them from my mother-in-law. We had a difficult time getting a good picture of Addison and Alyssa. The sun bothered Alyssa and Addison had a hard time holding her.

As you can tell Addison was not into looking at the camera for pictures. This was the case the entire week. Most all the pictures were Addison in motion. She did not sit still the whole week.

Here are some pictures of Addison and Alyssa that I took today. Addison had just woke up!

Look at those beautiful blue eyes! This child smiles ALL the time. You just look at her and she gives you that precious grin. She is so sweet!

Alyssa is growing so fast. She is rolling over from her stomach to her back. She has come very close to rolling over from her back to stomach. Here she is having some tummy time! This has been the hardest part of keeping Alyssa. Addison wants to kiss and hug her all the time. It is so sweet, but I am always afraid she is going to fall on her or something.

Here is Addison and her friend, Ella, relaxing in her Nana's pool. Ella is so cute in her shades! Addison has really enjoyed swimming this summer. She has done great with her swimmies, but still has to learn to keep her mouth closed. She drinks about a gallon of water every time she goes swimming.
Addie had a blast at her cousin Logan's birthday party at Monkey Joes. There was a bounce made for little ones like her!

Freedom Weekend

Ok, so I know it has been a while. I have had a very busy summer. I have kept Alyssa most of the summer and with two little ones to care for, there is not much time for anything else. I have really been enjoying my time with Addison and Alyssa. Alyssa is such a good baby and Addison is not at all jealous of her, so it has been fun. Anyway, I guess I need to catch you all up on all our summer activities and pictures.

We went to Freedom Weekend about a month ago and Addison really loved the balloons. The night before, we chased the balloons around Simpsonville with some friends of ours. Addie enjoyed it so much, that we decided to take her the next day. Here are the balloons blowing up and lifting off.

Here are some recent pictures of Addison, Alyssa and their proud Grandmama. You can't tell at all that I am a proud mom and aunt. I love those two little girls! Alyssa is doing great. Baby Alyssa is so precious. I can't get enough of her. We are so busy through the week that I usually only get to see her on the weekends. I miss her sooooo much through the week. Last weekend I gave her a bath and it took me back to when Addison was tiny. This, of course, seems like yesterday to me. Everyone says it flies by, but you really have no idea until you have one. I can't believe that Alyssa will be 4 weeks old Monday. Callie and Adam are doing great also. Alyssa is starting to get on a sleep schedule which is every three to four hours. Here are some new pictures! Enjoy!

So Addison's hair is finally long enough to have a Pebbles Ponytail! She didn't really mess with it much and she actually kept her bow in the whole day (she has been pulling them out lately). It is so cute and it keeps her hair out of her eyes. I am so exicted about it!

So baby Alyssa has finally arrived! We have been so anxious for nine months, but she is here, healthy and beautiful! Callie and Adam are having to endure the sleepless nights, but they are doing great! I am so proud of my little sister! She is an amazing mom. Addison doesn't really know what to think of Alyssa. Everyone is making sure to pay her plenty of attention, so she doesn't feel left out (not that she doesn't get enough attention as it is)!

Spring

Thank goodness Spring is here! I am so ready for warm weather. Addison loves being outside and going on family walks. Santa brought her a wagon and she loves riding in it. She is growing so fast. She is walking great now and talking like crazy. She loves giving and blowing kisses. She says mama, daddy, night-night, no (all the time), nana, mamama (which is grandmama), ball, sock, shoe and many more words. It is so exciting to see her little mind working and figuring things out. Above are some recent pictures of Addison at the park and at an early Easter family gathering.

We are also awaiting the arrival of Alyssa. Callie is very miserable right now. If she does not deliver over the weekend, which the doctor said there is a 50% chance of it happening, she will induce on Monday! I am so excited. I have not slept in 2 weeks at the thought of my little sister becoming a mom (can you tell I am an overprotective sister)! I will keep everyone updated and upload some pictures when she arrives.
